When I started thinking about ways to make my children's lives better, I realized that I had to create something they could count on financially for the long haul. I started thinking about creating a business, and I felt really great about it. I started working with other people to think of a concept that would work for the local community, and it was powerful to develop an idea regarding a business that met other people's needs.
